Long ago I had once access to an aircraft to fly over one part of the region. I seized that opportunity. It was mainly in order to visualize directly the very specials, and even fascinating, geography, topography and orography of the region from the sky, to have the opportunity to see some special mountains, mountain ranges, volcanoes, glaciers, fjords, etc., to have the opportunity to see some theaters of the many explorations and adventures I read about during my bibliographical study.
In this circumpstance I made few photographs.
I'm not a supporter of aerial photography at all (resort to mechanical means for mountain photography).
